A composite or white filling is used to repair a tooth that is affected by decay, cracks or fractures.

Composite fillings are safe, long-lasting as well as aesthetically the best alternative for fillings, as they can be customised in colour and shape to match your natural teeth, making the restoration look very natural.

Does this procedure hurt?

Once you have been numbed up, the procedure should be like any other and painless.

What will happen after my filling?

Once complete the dentist will check your bite and this may feel high or strange. It might need to be adjusted a couple of times until it feels ‘right’. The numbness might take a few hours to subside but after the initial strange feeling calms down, it should all be back to normal again.
